Introduction
LinkedIn for Workflows brings LinkedIn directly into your CRM. Automate connection requests, messages, profile searches, and post engagement while running two-way chat with your connections.
LinkedIn for Workflows Overview
LinkedIn for Workflows embeds LinkedIn directly in your CRM and Automation Workflow Builder. It allows you to:
- Automate outreach actions such as connection requests, messages/InMail, comments, and reactions
- Run two-way chat with your LinkedIn connections
- Enrich contact and company profiles with search and profile retrieval
This integration makes prospecting, follow-ups, and relationship management highly personalized — and keeps everything inside your CRM.
Important: Not a Mass Outreach Tool
LinkedIn for Workflows is designed to automate standard LinkedIn behavior, not to send mass or bulk messages. To stay within LinkedIn’s terms of service and avoid account issues:
- Follow platform-imposed rate limits (see below)
- Always space out actions and simulate natural, human timing
- Use personalization and context in your outreach
Accounts that exceed safe thresholds may be automatically disconnected.
Rate Limits
LinkedIn imposes limits to ensure genuine engagement and prevent spam. Typical ranges by account type include:
- Connection Requests: 80–100 per day, ~200 per week (paid accounts)
- Profile Visits: 80–100 per day (Premium), up to 150 (Sales Navigator)
- Company Profile Views: 80–150 per day depending on account type
- Search Results: up to 1,000 profiles per day (2,500 with Sales Navigator)
Workflow Actions are further limited to 30 requests per minute per action.
